MIDNIGHT SUN is a whipped tallow cream that can be used anywhere but works great as a summer-time facial moisturizer. Tamanu oil offers special protection against UV damage, although this should not be considered a sunscreen. This product is not the same as Alaska Tallow Co.’s previous Midnight Sun Brightening Whip.

Midnight sun comes in a 2 oz glass amber jar and smells of tamamu oil, very earthy and nutty.

INGREDIENTS:

GRASS-FED TALLOW: the highest quality tallow; containing vitamins A, D, E, K, B12, among other properties to replenish the skin on a cellular level. Tallow closely matches our skin’s sebum and won’t cause greasiness or breakouts. Our tallow comes from ethically raised cattle.

ORGANIC TAMANU OIL: tamanu oil is filled with antioxidants that help our skin to age gracefully. It’s also been shown to help encourage hair growth, prevent against UV damage, and assist in healing wounds while preventing infection.

WILD DANDELION: more than a weed, dandelion helps protect the skin from the sun’s radiation and encourages acne to heal.

WILD ROSE: wild rose can help cool the skin, decrease redness, and help promote cell turnover.

ORGANIC MARSHMALLOW ROOT: helps to add lots and lots of moisture to the skin–reducing the appearance of fine lines.

ALASKA TALLOW CO. – ANCHORAGE, ALASKA

Hi, I’m Leah!  I created Alaska Tallow Co. with the hope that everyone can experience their skin healing with minimal, real, and whole ingredients.

Outside of Alaska Tallow Co., I’m a nurse. While I completed my education, holisitc health fascinated me and I studied herbs along side my nursing studies. When asked by my friends what they should do for some ailment they’re experiencing, my loving (and sassy, yet honest) response is often: “herbs.” While much else goes into healing, I’ve watched herbs transform my skin and overall health.

My husband, Klynt and I live in the foothills of the Chugach Mountains (Dena’ina Ełnena homeland.) We are grateful for the stewards of the Dena’ina Land and feel very blessed to be in an area of such wild abundance.
